By using MatesPlates, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use MatesPlates.

2. Description of Service

MatesPlates is a social recipe discovery platform that allows users to share recipe links, add personal notes, and browse recommendations from friends and communities within "circles."

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password.
• You must notify us immediately of any breach of security.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to MatesPlates (such as recipe links, notes, and reactions). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content in connection with providing the service.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Physical World Recipes

MatesPlates is not responsible for any outcomes, including but not limited to cooking results, from any recipe shared on the platform. Users share and follow recipes at their own risk.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach the terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation of the service or the information, content, materials, or products included.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MatesPlates, its operators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of the service.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms taking effect.
